Erika & Mac finally got to meet handsome Mr. Jameson Patrick after waiting a few days past due. I believe he has been nicknamed "Buck" by family and it is perfection with his adorable nursery. Austen is so proud to be a big sister that she did a sweet dance for me! We also got to hang out in her room and look at all her toys. Where when I asked if I could move it, she said, "You should just stick to your house." HAHAHAHA I love kids.  While shooting Austen cuddling her brand new baby brother with so much love, admiration, innocence and protection my gushy heart melted. It's going to be such a blessing to watch these two grow into best friends over the next year.

Congrats Cormier family. He is perfect & I just adore your amazing family.

St. Charles Newborn Photographer/St. Charles Photographer/Lorelei

Lindsey & Dan never share the name of the baby, unless you are their photographer & then you get to know secrets! When they told me the newest addition to their family was named Lorelei, I immediately fell in love and then after meeting her fell in love all over again. Loralei was calm, sleepy, and wanted nothing but snuggles! She is so precious, that even big sister is over the moon for her and of course her two guard dogs.

Congratulations Remiger Family! Looking forward to watching both these girls grow in the next year. #jhpfamily

St. Charles Photographer/Columbia Photographer/Landry - Newborn

RC & Lauren have prayed for sweet Baby Landry for a few years. You can tell how big of a miracle he is in just by the way Lauren looks at him. She has adapted into Motherhood which such patiences and grace. Spending the morning with them reminded me just how beautiful life is through children.

Landry's nursery was a photographers dream as far as decoration. It was the cutest wilderness/lumberjack theme I have even seen. When my kids where little we did Winnie the pooh and Disney characters, the themes now are just elegant and so unique!

Thank you Strands for welcoming me into your home to capture this beautiful moment in your life.

Lindsey & Dan are getting ready to welcome Baby girl #2 and if she is anything like sweet wild Miss Ellie they are truly going to have their hands full of so much love. We ended up with a gorgeous January day & were able to shoot outside at Quail Ridge Park.

Lindsey is absolutely stunning pregnant & it was such a joy to get to capture this moment for them. Hopefully Dan is ready for a house full of ladies!!

St. Charles Newborn Photographer/St. Charles photographer/MacKenzie Lynn

The Doggett's have been with Jheart since their engagement. Now two sweet little girls later, they are really loving all that life has to offer. Sweet MacKenzie was born after what Mom says was, "half a push and she was here! The doctor didn't even make it in!" Needless to say MacKenzie was very excited to join them and meet her big sister Annie! Ashley did an outstanding job decorating her nursery, so much so I might have her come redo my girls room!

Thank you Doggetts for adding another adorable baby girl for me to hang out with.

St. Charles Photograper/St. Charles Newborn Photographer/Miss Megan

This is my first shoot with the Maestas' and they were just the most photogenic family. Miss Megan was welcomed by two very excited big sisters. I'm not sure what kind of super powers Kristin has to keep up with three amazing girls, but she is a rockstar at the "mom" thing.

Even at 4 weeks new Megan was so sweet to photograph. Outside of a small fever scare, she has been an outstanding new addition.

St. Charles Family Photographer/St. Charles Photographer/Baby Harrison

Meet Mr. Harrison. Born on Friday October 13th. He has worked really hard to get here, and then at the last minute decided he was going to change his mind. Danielle had a quick amazing 6hour labor, hours of pushing, to find out Harrison was trying to come out back first causing for a c-section. Danielle didn't take to the numbing medicine so she ended up missing the first 45 minutes of Harrison's life. But he is here, and she could not be anymore excited. I think she is equally as excited to eat sweet again as while she was pregnant she had gestational diabetes.

So welcome Mr. Harrison. I know your Mommy & Daddy are over the moon to have you here.

St. Charles Newborn Photographer/St. Charles Photographer/Waylon Newborn

Waylon is going to be one of those little ones that always hold a special place in my heart. Watching him join the world and getting to capture that moment was so amazing. This time, as the Stevens invited me into their home, I got to meet big sister! She is 4 years worth of amazing and loves her little brother to pieces. She instantly wanted to show me everything little brother had and really welcomed me into their life. It was so wonderful to see how much she truly loved this new piece of her life.

Waylon's room was decorated with coloring pages that look like old American style tattoos! Which I learned during the shoot that Dad used to be a tattoo artist. Loved it! Just wait until you see the adorable outfit Mom picked for him that matches his room!

Watching this new family of 4 snuggle up on the couch really reminding why I love what I do. It's moments like this that are so incredible you just don't ever want to forget them.

St. Charles Photographer/St. Charles delivery photographer/Welcome to the world baby Waylon

Capturing a birth is one of the most amazing things someone can ask me to be apart. Hanging out with a couple while they wait one of the most sentimental moments of their life is a huge honor.

I knew I was going to love these two when I walked in and they were rocking out to music while they attempted to get more sleep. Erica let me know about 6:30pm that she had already been in labor for about 13 hrs & they were still not quite ready to go to the hospital. Then around 9:30 she let me know they were headed to the hospital since the contractions were 5 minutes apart. Unfortunately the hospital sent her home because she was still only 2cm dilated. So the story goes...she went home, took a shower, some Benadryl...got out of the shower...and water broke! Back to the hospital they went at about midnight!

I got the call to finally join them at 4am, when she hit 8cm and the nurses felt like he was going to be coming pretty quickly at that point. However handsome Mr. Waylon was NOT ready....he spent another 4.5 hours inching his way out. With the final push that brought him into the world, he barely cried, he just snuggled right up to Mom. I am so excited to get to see them all again soon to shoot his newborn pictures so make sure you keep an eye out for that!

St Charles Newborn Photographer/St. Charles Photography/Baby Christopher - 24hrs New

Sweet baby Christopher! It has been a long time since I have had the joy of holding a sweet newborn, probably about a year since my nephew was born, and it was magical. I forget how sweet they smell and how cuddly the are in your arms! Kristen and Josh now have 5 beautiful children and are such a sweet family. Kristen delivered at St. Luke's which is just outside of St. Charles in Chesterfield and she had many good things to say about her delivery experience. Considering she is a pro now I am glad that they took good care of her and baby. Good enough that she got to go home right after this shoot!
