Holly & Paul say I Do/St.Charles Wedding Photographer/Brookdale Farms Eureka

I was so excited for Holly & Paul's big day. Not only because I simply love my job, but because one request Holly had at random, was to not have flowers, but to have puppies instead! So, being the photographer that I am....I set out on a hunt for puppies. 48 hours later I was set up with 6 adorable bull/pit puppies that stole everyone hearts. These two also picked a GORGEOUS venue in Eureka called Brookdale Farms. The rustic charm, beautiful open hillsides, and old barn were a photographer's dream. Watching these two come together after 8 years surrounding by their kids, family, and friends was really a treat.

I have also come to the conclusion that everyone should have puppies at their wedding. <3

Alex ~ Senior/St. Charles Photographer/Main Street St. Charles

If I have had luck with anything this year, it has been my Senior boys. All of them have blown me away with how much personality they show through my lens.

When you are with Alex, you can't help but end up laughing along with him. He happens to have the most contagious laugh & he really finds a lot of joy in the world to laugh at. Historic Main Street in St. Charles provided so many gorgeous sunset spots to showcase this handsome young man.

Hopefully in a years time, he gets to make some visits to Mizzou as that is so far, his college of choice. However, any college would be lucky to have him!

Amanda & Jacob had the perfect wedding day. The rain stop just in time & we were blessed with beautiful sunshine. Boulevard Park is a perfect spot for an outdoor ceremony. The gazebo is surrounding by trees with a gorgeous fountain for a back drop.

Amanda did an outstanding job with all of the details from the stunning bridesmaids dresses to the delicious cake! These two were surrounded by so many family & friends that love and support them in their next life journey. I am so blessed that Jheart Photography was there to capture this perfect day.

Megan is a very near and dear friend to me. Recently she relocated to Phoenix for a better job for her husband so I decided I was going to go visit. How could I not visit without capture her and her adorable 4 kids. Gabe, Audra, Maxwell, and Ella. All of them are amazing kids and rather hilarious.

Megan & I became friends when she won a contest I did for my photography business and we were instant friends. We then continued to bond or motherhood, wifehood, and just life. Megan has such a beautiful heart and I really enjoyed spending the weekend with her and her crew.

Can't wait to go back Megan <3

St. Charles Senior Photographer/St. Louis Senior Photographer/Tyler Senior Session with the adorable Diego

Every so often I have clients ask if they can bring their fur babies for some pictures. I will ALWAYS say yes to that! Tyler brought his boxer Diego and it was magic. Tyler alone was pretty amazing and definitely born to be in front front of the camera. Plus I might start asking Tyler for wardrobe help because his outfit choices were ON.POINT for this session. This "Mom wardrobe" could totally use a make over!

Tyler is loving his senior year at McCluer North. He will use his A+ program for the first two year of college and then hopefully fulfill his dream of joining his friends at the University. Mom is looking forward to having him around close for a few years. Lafayette Park was the perfect setting for this session as the colors were just perfect for this fall day.

St. Charles Photograper/St. Charles Newborn Photographer/Miss Megan

This is my first shoot with the Maestas' and they were just the most photogenic family. Miss Megan was welcomed by two very excited big sisters. I'm not sure what kind of super powers Kristin has to keep up with three amazing girls, but she is a rockstar at the "mom" thing.

Even at 4 weeks new Megan was so sweet to photograph. Outside of a small fever scare, she has been an outstanding new addition.

St. Charles Wedding Photographer/St. Charles Photographer/Hailey & Joe Engaged

I had such a good time with these two. Hailey and Joe have been together for 4 years and are getting ready to experience what the Navy military life has in store. Hopefully he will be done with basic in time for the April wedding! Joe is a more quiet person so I was nervous at first, but then as soon as he started to interact with Hailey, he loosened up and they connect so good. I do believe that Joe's quiet jokes is what keeps Hailey around. Joe is a volunteer firefighter for Dupo IL and when Hailey said she wanted some pictures with the fire trucks I was ready! I love that they added a special touch to their session.

Hailey & Joe's April Wedding is going to be an awesome start to the Jheart 2018 wedding season. Both of them are so sweet that it does not surprise me that they found each other and fell in love.

St. Charles Newborn Photographer/St. Charles Photographer/Waylon Newborn

Waylon is going to be one of those little ones that always hold a special place in my heart. Watching him join the world and getting to capture that moment was so amazing. This time, as the Stevens invited me into their home, I got to meet big sister! She is 4 years worth of amazing and loves her little brother to pieces. She instantly wanted to show me everything little brother had and really welcomed me into their life. It was so wonderful to see how much she truly loved this new piece of her life.

Waylon's room was decorated with coloring pages that look like old American style tattoos! Which I learned during the shoot that Dad used to be a tattoo artist. Loved it! Just wait until you see the adorable outfit Mom picked for him that matches his room!

Watching this new family of 4 snuggle up on the couch really reminding why I love what I do. It's moments like this that are so incredible you just don't ever want to forget them.

Capturing a birth is one of the most amazing things someone can ask me to be apart. Hanging out with a couple while they wait one of the most sentimental moments of their life is a huge honor.

I knew I was going to love these two when I walked in and they were rocking out to music while they attempted to get more sleep. Erica let me know about 6:30pm that she had already been in labor for about 13 hrs & they were still not quite ready to go to the hospital. Then around 9:30 she let me know they were headed to the hospital since the contractions were 5 minutes apart. Unfortunately the hospital sent her home because she was still only 2cm dilated. So the story goes...she went home, took a shower, some Benadryl...got out of the shower...and water broke! Back to the hospital they went at about midnight!

I got the call to finally join them at 4am, when she hit 8cm and the nurses felt like he was going to be coming pretty quickly at that point. However handsome Mr. Waylon was NOT ready....he spent another 4.5 hours inching his way out. With the final push that brought him into the world, he barely cried, he just snuggled right up to Mom. I am so excited to get to see them all again soon to shoot his newborn pictures so make sure you keep an eye out for that!
