St. Charles Wedding Photographer/Wright City Wedding Photographer/Pogrelis Wedding

This season is causing me to majorly fall in love with intimate backyard weddings. Whitney & Ben's property was the perfect spot for them to say "I do!" I had so much fun with them and their entire wedding party.

Have you ever seen a more stunning bride? Whitney in her gorgeous dress that she personalized to her style and the attention to details she put into the whole day really made this wedding beautifully unique.

Thank you so much Ben & Whitney for asking me to capture these for you. It was such a blessing to be apart of your forever.

St. Charles Wedding Photographer/St. Charles Photographer/Claire & Michael Cannon Beach

I recently spent a weekend in the mountains of Portland Oregon & one beautiful day at Cannon Beach with Claire & Michael. I know I usually am a St. Charles Wedding photographer, but when and friend of mine, Cieara with Cieara Ruess Photography went on a luxury trip we knew we had to find someone to shoot and we were so blessed with Claire & Michael.

Claire and Michael met when her Dad invited him to their church's swing dancing club because he knew Claire & Michael would hit it off. Now, two and half year later they are still dancing together in the kitchens of their parents home. I don't know about you, but that is the most romantic thing EVER. They even showed off some of their moves for us!It is always pure joy when I get to shoot couples that have bursting love like these two.

I do hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed shooting them.

America The Beautiful

The past few years I have not went to see fireworks because I am not a huge fan of the noise and my youngest son really doesn't like them, but this year I went to our local town Wright City's Firework display. It reminded me of how much I love the fact that to celebrate our Freedom and the people who fought for it, we blow things up! Seems like such irony in that and I love it. I love the colors, the applause, the sparkle, and the looks on little kids faces as they explode. For some reason it really makes my heart burst with pride to be apart of this country. So in true photographer fashion...i snapped a few pictures of the fireworks before the smoke took over. Of course I had to do smoke bomb and sparkler pictures because as a photographer I would feel incomplete had I not.

Happy Fourth of July!!!
