Christy & Amanda Aubuchon Wedding - Old Hickory Golf Club

Beautiful, funny, and down to earth is the best way to describe these two wonderful women who said I do at the beautiful Old Hickory golf course in St. Peters Mo. Despite the rain, we turned this into the greatest day ever.

From the moment Christy & I spoke on the phone I knew their love was something special. In fact, Christy stated,

“I’ve been chasing this girl for awhile and now she’s almost mine..”

Insert the tears.

Then comes the wedding day and Christy’s face as she finally got to see Amanda in her gorgeous gown brought on MORE tears. Seeing them love each other melted my heart and they may have one of my favorite love stories.

So many tears, so much love, and for sure a happily ever after.

Gillette Wedding - The White Owl Wright City MO - Jheart Photography

It was such a joy to be invited back to The White Owl for Jessie and Morgan’s beautiful wedding day.

Out of all of the weddings I have been apart of, Morgan is the first bride to honor me with dressing the bridesmaids in the most adorable blush pant suits. They were perfect. I hope these become a giant wedding trend!

It’s not just the girls that rock their attire for the day. Don’t forget to look at the detail Jessie made sure was in his suit…He looked so sharp.

Danielle & Jesse/St. Charles Wedding Photographer/Blanchette Park Wedding

As guests started to be seated and the beautiful Rau Gardens Blanchette Park in the heart of St. Charles Missouri, the slight sprinkles disappeared, the sun came out just in time for Danielle to walk down the aisle. The beautiful flowers and colors make this garden one of my favorites to capture a wedding. Danielle &. Jesse have so much love and laughter between them that it was hard to not have a really fun time! Watching them blend their families together with vows really was a special moment. Their family and friends surrounded them and really rocked the night with some dancing!

Annie & Austin Wedding/New Town St Charles Wedding/St. Charles Wedding Photographer

Annie & Austin’s wedding day was nothing short of magical. The flowers were stunning, Annie’s dress was timeless, and Austin never stopped smiling. The Chapel at New Town is full of beautiful airy light that is every photographer’s dream! I had never shot a wedding here before and I seriously can’t wait to shoot more. The colors around New Town this time of year cast an abundance of beautiful fall colors all around them. New Town really is a gorgeous small town with a community that is like no other. Annie was nervous before walking down the aisle, but as soon as she saw Austin, her smile grew and the whole chapel was in awe, I mean…could she be more stunning?? These also had a party like no other with Annie’s brother’s band rocking the event tent!

Elaina & Kurt/Breckenridge Colorado/Sapphire Pointe/The Lodge at Breckenridge

If you know me, you know the Colorado mountains have a special place in my heart so when Kurt & Elaina told me they were getting married in Breckenridge, I’m pretty sure I squealed. Elaina did not disappoint with every detail that went into their day.

We started at The Lodge at Breckenridge which over looks pretty much the whole town and every room has gorgeous mountain top views. Their suite was the perfect spot for Elaina to relax and prepare for her big walk down the aisle. After this, we all headed to the gorgeous Sapphire Point in Dillion Colorado. It’s a mountain cliff that overlooks the Dillion reservoir. After winding up the mountain side, on a two lane road you get to the overlook and the view from the overlook, literally took my breath away. As Elaina walked down the aisle to Kurt, the joy on everyone’s face spoke volumes as to how much this moment meant. I was so humbled to be in this gorgeous place, with these remarkable people, capturing the next milestone in their life.

I know you will love viewing this wedding as much as I did being there. When it’s time to plan your wedding or next vacation, never rule out the mountains!

Holly & Paul say I Do/St.Charles Wedding Photographer/Brookdale Farms Eureka

I was so excited for Holly & Paul's big day. Not only because I simply love my job, but because one request Holly had at random, was to not have flowers, but to have puppies instead! So, being the photographer that I am....I set out on a hunt for puppies. 48 hours later I was set up with 6 adorable bull/pit puppies that stole everyone hearts. These two also picked a GORGEOUS venue in Eureka called Brookdale Farms. The rustic charm, beautiful open hillsides, and old barn were a photographer's dream. Watching these two come together after 8 years surrounding by their kids, family, and friends was really a treat.

I have also come to the conclusion that everyone should have puppies at their wedding. <3

Melanie & Corey say "I Do"/St. Charles Wedding Photographer/Quail Ridge Park Wentzville

Melanie & Corey had gorgeous weather at Quail Ridge Park in Wentzville where they said their "I do's". Melanie's gorgeous wedding gown that displayed her beautiful tattoo artwork was stunning with her side swoop hair do. Every detail was excellently executed and really made her look complete. The black and maroon colors complimenting everything about Melanie. I couldn't believe those were silk flowers!

I learned very quickly that the Groomsmen don't take each other too seriously when all together and they definitely love to joke. We had such a great time taking pictures and getting to learn a little bit about his friendship with each one of them. As Corey watched Melanie walk down the aisle he had to look to the sky to keep the tears from falling, which is perfection in the eyes of a photographer.

Watching these two say "I do" with their family and closest friends really made me smile. The Lodge at Quail Ridge proved to be a perfect setting with wall to ceiling windows the over looked a pond and lush greenery. I can't wait to shoot more weddings there in 2019. The ukulele serenading Uncle's was probably my favorite part!

Thank you Melanie and Corey for asking me to be there to capture your wedding day. I loved spending the day with you and your family and friends. I am excited to see where this next journey in life takes you!
